Montreal’s îLESONIQ Festival is back with its 7th edition on August 5-7 2022 at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The island is about to host, once again, one of the wildest and best Electronic Music festivals in the province of Quebec, and Canada. This year, the festival is getting even bigger with one of the biggest mobile stages in North America. An amazing lineup of Electronic Music artists and international festival-goers are about to take îLESONIQ Festival 2022 by storm and we couldn’t be more excited! You don’t want to miss this!
The festival started in 2014 with an impressive lineup and it never stopped improving every single year since its inception. The festival is known for bringing a spectacular and diversified lineup of world-class DJs, singers, and performers, and this year is no different.
îLESONIQ Festival is bringing its memorable summer party experience on three stages, the Bell OASIS stage, the Coca-Cola NEON stage and the MIRAGE stage. It has also been announced that the Bell OASIS stage will be 2.5 x bigger this year! The hype is seriously real!
Where is îLESONIQ Festival 2022 hosted?
The event is located at Parc Jean-Drapeau. Unfamiliar with Parc Jean-Drapeau? Just to give you an idea, it is the third-largest park in Montreal and it is only 5 minutes from downtown Montreal. Very convenient, eh? The park is in fact two islands, Notre Dame Island and Saint Helen’s Island. The islands were also the hosting site of the legendary Expo 67 World’s Fair. The park offers an aquatic complex, the Jean-Doré beach, and is a great spot in the summer for hiking, cycling, rock climbing, canoeing and tons of other fun outdoor activities!
What’s the music like at îLESONIQ Festival 2022?
This year the festival brings a massive lineup of Electronic Music artists, as is tradition, including performances by Eric Prydz, Swedish House Mafia, Illenium B2B Excision, Rae Sremmurd, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Dixon, Fisher, Lane 8, Louis The Child, Madeon, Subtronics, SVDDEN DEATH, Tchami, Zomboy, and many many more. The three days festival is offering something for everybody! From Tech House to Dubstep, Trap, Trance, Drum & Bass, Techno, Progressive House and everything in between, îLESONIQ Festival 2022 really stands out for its magnitude and diversity. You don’t see Sean Paul on the same lineup as Excision and Infected Mushroom very often! 😀
