Habstrakt is out with his second original release for 2024 with an acid Bass House track titled CASH. This new 2024 Habstrakt song follows the recently released single Enemy which was a track done in collaboration with Dr. Fresch. Upon first listening, CASH should grab a lot of attention and notoriety just as previous Bass House tracks by Habstrakt have including the addictive-sounding solo release High, and the brain-melting collaboration with Roderick Porter titled Outer Space.
Habstrakt – CASH is built upon a template featuring two alternating sections that include a chanted verse and a melodic chorus section. The chant section opens the track featuring a four-on-the-floor kick drum accompanying a repetitive chant from an evolving digitally altered voice. A hi-hat on the off beats and a fast-moving sequencing synth next join the fray immediately injecting more intensity into the track. The chant then fades out as it transitions to a drum riser that climaxes with a brief and catchy breakbeat teaser before dropping the beat for the melodic section.
The melodic chorus section features a mind-etching repeated motif played from an acid synth. After a couple of rounds of the melodic motif, the chant section returns for an extended and more intense go now aided by a deep booming bass that evolves into a siren riser that joins forces with another drum riser that again climaxes with a breakbeat teaser before making way for one final drop of the melodic chorus section to take the track out to its completion.
The acid Bass House goodness that emanates from this new 2024 Habstrakt song continues a streak of bangers that we can always count on that go back to his debut in 2011. This precedent not only falls on original tracks produced by Habstrakt but also on his remixes with some of the more memorable ones including remixes of Flow by Nitepunk, Gotta Be by Bleu Clair, and Tonight by Samplifire. Habstrakt – CASH will receive lots of play from us just as his preceding originals and remixes have.
