DJ DIESEL (Shaquille O’Neil), the biggest DJ in the world, has teamed up with the Queen of Bass, Jessica Audiffred, for an extreme new track titled NO FEAR. DIESEL is currently amidst his Summer Of Bass tour. We recently checked in with him at its start with the release of his fetching track BANG YOUR HEAD which was produced with Hairitage. NO FEAR will be featured on the upcoming Shaq / DIESEL Dubstep album on Monstercat along with BANG YOUR HEAD. Jessica Audiffred has had a busy 2023 to date with collaborations alongside Riot Ten, Blvkstn, Clara Park, and Adventure Club. Her track Never Be The Same produced with Sarah Benyo in 2022 is still getting constant playtime from our playlists. We can’t get enough of its emotional Dubstep goodness. The new DIESEL & Jessica Audiffred 2023 Dubstep / Bass House song sets out with a goal of breaking all intensity meters with its constant building blocks and elite climaxes.
DIESEL & Jessica Audiffred – NO FEAR opens with an oscillating synth bassline backed by city ambiance. The drums start shortly after the introduction. The intensity of the drum groove increases every few measures. Not long after, the drums transition to a full-on riser in tandem with a synth siren. At the riser’s climax comes the first vocal drop from DIESEL proclaiming “Hands up we will rage all night”. Next, a Phrygian synth melody takes you on a joy ride to hype up everyone in sight. Following a vivid round of bass glory, NO FEAR reverts back to the song’s introduction. Once again NO FEAR builds itself up for another go on the hype train.
After another proclamation of “Hands up we will rage all night” from DIESEL, another cycle of the Phrygian melody takes place with even more intensity. The intensity is like if you were playing a video game and the second level is throwing much more at you compared to the first. As the heightened second round of Phrygian motifs concludes, NO FEAR as a whole also comes to an end with a fade out as if you’re watching the hype train ride off into the sunset.
