Today we’re bringing you a new Max Styler EP via Patrick Topping’s Trick Label, where Tech House music meets Indie Dance in the form of two seriously potent new tracks. The EP in question is called Max Styler – Need You Tonight; the first two songs on the EP are the title track and Let Go featuring Ōsé, whilst the last two comprise extended remixes of these tracks.
The title track of the Max Styler – Need You Tonight EP gets the release off to a strong start, its pulsating bass lines and crisp percussion ensuring that it has already started gaining traction among fans of energetic EDM. Its catchy vocal refrains (“I need you tonight”) certainly keep the energy levels high throughout, as do its stripped back breakdown sections, which keep the track sounding fresh and dynamic. The extended version of the track that is featured on this release lengthens the song by just over a minute, giving listeners more time to appreciate its infectious grooves and cleverly layered production.
The second track from this new Max Styler EP on the Trick Label continues to emphasize these latter qualities, whilst also leaning more heavily into the ‘Tech House music meets Indie Dance’ aesthetic that’s become increasingly popular on underground dancefloors in recent years. The track is Let Go featuring Chicago producer Ōsé, and it features a sleek fusion of styles that feels both exciting and dancefloor-ready. Similar can be said of its extended remix, which again gives the listener more time to appreciate its driving beats and layered synths.
If you’re a regular listener of EDM of any kind, you will likely have heard the name Max Styler before; some of his best known releases to date include I Know You Want To, On Repeat, Amazing, the Don’t Stop EP, and a double release Addiction / Yapper with Oscar L. Having listened to the new Max Styler – Need You Tonight EP, we are confident that this release will further cement his reputation as a versatile and forward-thinking producer, with each track bringing seriously infectious grooves and dynamic dance beats that sound both fresh and familiar.
