BLVCK CROWZ & Luke Madness have banged their heads together and came up with some fresh new mainline Drum and Bass music. Their track MOONLOVE is appropriately named because it’s going to take you into outer space. Although this isn’t the first time we’ve seen BLVCK CROWZ & Luke Madness collaborate. Previously, their take on new jump-up DnB music was Habits (ft. Kaylab) which you can listen to here. At any rate, it’s clear to anyone with ears, the masked duo and the eclectic DJ are a potent combination. Altogether they’ve covered almost every genre of EDM and they keep on reinventing.
MOONLOVE by BLVCK CROWZ & Luke Madness is a track that doesn’t waste any time. The atmospheric piano lifts you up while the powerful yet smooth bass propels you into another dimension. As well as this, a smooth, analog effervescence crackles away, making the track an ethereal experience. The vocals kick in and they echo around your head, giving the track huge depth and width. But in the space of a few seconds things start to change. It’s the calm before the storm that you know so well from other new jump-up DnB music. Soon, the delirious, floaty feeling starts to turn into something else. Tension starts to build before the snappy drum work warns you everything is about to get a lot more hectic.

You go from floating through space to being sucked into a black hole. But the best bit is you don’t see it coming. MOONLOVE is over-brimming with dance floor energy and is unquestionably a mainline Drum and Bass music banger. The BLVCK CROWZ hellish sound design meets Luke Madness’s high-energy vibes to create a must have DnB track. The intro and the bridge of this track ooze mid-set vibes. You can imagine catching your breath on the dance floor, staring up at the lights and feeling complete euphoria. This track has it all, from 0-100. We’re excited to see what else will come from the collective minds of BLVCK CROWZ & Luke Madness soon.
