There is something suspicious about BASTiEN, I heard that Borgeous & tyDi – Wanna Lose You (BASTiEN Remix) is his first production, I don’t buy it, not one bit. After reviewing music for over 7 years now, most of the producers’ first tracks don’t sound nearly as good and professional as this.
His remix of “Wanna Lose You” is an unpredictable fusion between Dubstep, Hybrid Trap and Drum and Bass. Personally, the DnB segment is my favorite. BASTiEN was able to craft a complex clevery-written remix while keeping the best elements of the original song. It is something like a filthier version of the original… and on steroids. Armada music should wake up and grab this as an official remix.
His music is a colorful blend of electronic dance music genres, influenced by the likes of Virtual Riot, Grey, ROYALTY, and graves. His remix features futuristic swelling chords, edgy growls and heavy bass.
Keep an eye on BASTiEN, I feel like it’s a name that will be heard a lot on the EDM scene in the future.
