5 Must-See Techno Acts @ Oasis Festival

Oasis Festival 2018 - Morroco - EKM

Oasis Festival is less than one month away, the unique festival will take over the Fellah luxurious hotel in Marrakech for three days of delightful Techno, House and Nu Disco music right at the bottom of the magnificent Atlas mountains. We were already extremely excited to attend this magical journey in Morocco, and now we are even more since they added Black Coffee and Virgil Abloh to the lineup! If you didn’t already, make sure to check out the feature we did for the festival HERE.

You can find below the final lineup, our top 5 picks of the Techno acts not to miss and our two Spotify playlists with some of the best songs from the artists who will perform at Oasis Festival.

If you don’t already have your tickets, you can grab them HERE and make sure to like the Oasis Festival official Facebook page HERE.

Here’s our Top 5 Must-See Techno Acts @ Oasis Festival

#1 – Stephan Bodzin (Live) [DE]

Stephan Bodzin is our top pick, and my personal favorite Techno music producer. I could go on and on about how Stephan is a legend, one of the top composers of our time, but instead just watch his live performance at Piz Gloria for Cercle below, if this video doesn’t hype you for his set, nothing will!

#2 – Carl Cox [UK]

Oh Yes, Oh Yes, Oh Yes! The king is here! I know him, you know him, and everybody loves him! Always delivering a perfect fusion of Techno and House, legendary DJ, producer and crowd favorite, seeing Carl Cox at Oasis will be a real treat!

#3 – Sasha [UK]

Sasha, just like Carl Cox, doesn’t need any introduction. Unless you are very new to electronic music, you should have already heard of him. Voted world’s Top DJ in 2000, four-time International Dance Music Awards & DJ Awards winner, Grammy Award nominee, and one of the founders of the Deep Melodic Techno sound, saying that Sasha is a legend of the electronic music scene is almost an understatement. Get ready for a deep journey into progressive House and Techno!

#4 – Rødhåd [DE]

Since the end of the 90s, Rødhåd has had an important place in the German Techno scene. “Break Through Artist Of The Year” on Resident Advisor in 2012, Rødhåd quickly rose to Techno fame with his deep, powerful and melancholic blend of Techno, House and Dub. His music has been supported by big names like Marcel Dettmann, Ben Klock, Robert Hood, Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier & Sven Väth, just to name a few. His timeless Techno sets are out of this world and we can’t wait to have the “Rødhåd experience”

#5 – Alex Niggemann [DE]

Alex Niggemann is a classicly trained pianist and an outstanding composer, he is well known for performing at the world’s finest nightclubs and festivals around the globe, clubs like Watergate, Berghain (in his home town of Berlin), Fabric in London, and Space in Ibiza. Get ready for an extremely immersive musical experience!
