Riot Ten x STARX – Get Out! is a Savage Dubstep Screamer

Riot Ten x STARX - Get Out! - Dubstep Dim Mak - Riot Ten 2021

For Riot Ten, 2021 is already a big year! His last track ‘Poppin’ with CHRMNDRS and Krystall Poppin has already set the tone nicely. Although his mind-bending, ear-bleeding antics aren’t new for this year. His other releases such as ‘Bang Bang’ or the Emergence EP are proof that he’s a world-class Dubstep producer. The new track out today – Riot Ten x STARXGet Out! – is a collaboration with fellow innovator STARX. This Mexico-born, Miami-based producer is a different kind of crazy. His influence of Psytrance and Hard Dance (or Hard Psy, as he’s terms it) on this track makes it a pretty unique piece of music. It also features the vocal talents of Blupill & Dopeboylo. When it comes to big-name Dubstep, Dim Mak is becoming a go-to label. Their eclectic tastes are probably the only sensible home for this track though, and you’ll understand why when you hear it.

This track, Riot Ten x STARXGet Out! starts out sounding like a SoundCloud rap song circa 2012. The pairing of the two vocalists, Blupill & Dopeboylo was a great choice. Dopeboylo’s autotuned rap combined with Blupill’s Hardcore/Screamo-style vocals makes this sound like a T-Pain x Lil Jon crossover from an alternate dimension. The intro to Get Out! could be a standalone track and it would be great. But Riot Ten x STARX are yet to make their mark. When they do, it’s like all hell has broken loose. It’s unrelenting, unadulterated Dubstep power that doesn’t take its foot off the gas for even a second. The only break in the music is for Blupill to scream profanities.

As a label known for featuring ‘a bit of everything’ including Dubstep, Dim Mak is fast becoming the all-round dance music powerhouse. Hitting play on their SoundCloud page feels a bit like hitting shuffle on a strangers playlist. Or with tracks like Riot Ten x STARXGet Out! in the mix, it feels a bit more like playing Russian Roulette… this song will sooner than later break rails across the globe!
