If you’re on the lookout for a new House & Techno music compilation in 2025, then you won’t find a better release than IN/ROTATION’s 10-track Rotate Volume 14 Compilation! A sub-label of the iconic Insomniac imprint, IN/ROTATION have released numerous volumes of these banging compilations before; among those that we’ve previously covered are volume 6, volume 7 and volume 11. This particular volume, meanwhile, has seen the release veer more towards a Tech sound overall, whilst still making sure to hang on to plenty of those juicy House-flavored sounds to keep die-hard listeners happy.
FENIK – Obsession
One of our favorite tracks on the Rotate Volume 14 Compilation is Obsession, which comes courtesy of the self-described “burgeoning Philly to Nashville producer” FENIK. This track is raw, wild, and fast-paced, focused around frantic hi-hat rhythms, a guttural synth hook and an enticing vocal sample (“let me be your obsession”). It certainly sits on the darker side of the House/Techno sound too, leaving plenty of room for roars of reverberating bass that frame the vocal hook perfectly. Obsession might only clock in at two and a half minutes long, but what it lacks in duration it more than makes up for in unfettered power, making it a essential part of this new 2025 House & Techno music compilation.
B/AN/K – Frequency
The track that follows FENIK’s Obsession on the compilation is Frequency by B/AN/K, another of our favorite House and Techno flavored moments on this release. It blends the simple but catchy vocal refrain of its title with pulsing synths, a cutting, bass-driven synth line, and expert production, all of which reveal the artist’s clear adoration of the “raw, high-energy rave culture of the early 1990s”. Born and raised in NYC and building his burgeoning fanbase more and more every day, B/AN/K is one artist that you’ll want to keep an eye on in 2025.
ALAY – Take Me
Next up on our list of favorite tracks on the Rotate Volume 14 Compilation is Take Me by ALAY, whose roots lie in Milan and São Paolo, but who is currently a resident DJ at Nordstern in Switzerland, one of Europe’s top 10 music venues. Take Me features some lighter touches than the other two tracks we’ve featured so far, such as a breathy female vocal (“take me beyond the places that we know”) and a subtle but highly effective bassline. This is not to say, however, that the track is not afraid to go hard when it needs to, making use of climactic build-ups and raw, potent drops that fans of both Techno and House are sure to love.
Dan Be – EfEm
We’ve also been loving EfEm by Dan Be, the fifth track on this 2025 House & Techno music compilation. Born and raised in Spain, Dan brings a funkier element to proceedings, establishing a groove-filled beat right from the start, as well as a cleverly manipulated vocal sample that brings an extra layer of rhythm to the track. Bold stabs of synth keep energy levels high, even in the less busy sections of the song, whilst funky breaks will make a firm favorite of those listeners who like their EDM with some fresh grooves.
Ben Arsenal, Katerina Sky and Danielinha – JOIA
The final track from the Rotate Volume 14 Compilation that we’d like to tell you about comes courtesy of Ben Arsenal, Katerina Sky, and Danielinha. The track’s title is JOIA, and it’s an intriguing mix of irresistible House beats, and an enticing female vocal. We particularly love the mix of dark and light vibes in this one, with the song’s chunky bass groove being offset perfectly by a melodic, almost ethereal lead synth.
