French producer Space 92 never ceases to amaze us in conjuring powerful Techno tracks. Songs like Colonia, which features a bubbling pot of raging bass and enthralling atmospheres, or the true dance floor weapon of a track in Apollo, continue to prove why Space 92 is always racking up number-one hits and millions of plays. For this reason, we were delighted to learn that Space 92’s next project was a remix of one of our favorite recently released tracks Reasons To Love You by the Lebanese/British producer and DJ Nicole Moudaber. Upon its original release in 2023, Reasons To Love You wowed us with its mix of peak-time Melodic Breaks and dreamy ethereal vocals. Nicole Moudaber – Reasons To Love You (Space 92 Remix) ups the ante of Techno goodness and also veers away from the original’s unexpected nature.
The remix focuses on the original version’s booming and fast-peddling main groove while adding sick new Techno motifs to enhance it. The chants of “Beat it up!” from the original continue to be prevalent in the remix. Throughout the track, you’ll find that these chants are put through an obstacle course revealing new pitch changes around every corner. The unexpected nature of the original was a big part of what attracted us to it as it would jump from its hype-inducing intro to its fast peddling main groove section which is the focus of the Space 92 remix followed by a beautiful choral counter melody break.
The remix breaks from that unexpected nature and focuses on just how much bigger at every turn it can build upon the main groove section and it achieves that goal in an exhilarating fashion. Nicole Moudaber – Reasons To Love You (Space 92 Remix) is now available for streaming and it offers an excuse to relive the original and its delightful mix of sonic focuses, while also celebrating the powerful Techno patterns that emerge from this new Space 92 remix.
