Marcovits Drops New Tunes ‘Clouds of Venus’ & ‘Plastiq Ocean’

The last few months have been a roller-coaster for the dynamic producer from Israel, Marcovits. We say so because the Melodic House & Techno producer ended 2020 with a 4-track extended play called, ‘Entropy.’ Now, he is dropping another stunning EP titled, ‘Monomer’ to start the new year. This extended play includes three tracks, ‘Clouds of Venus,’ ‘Plastiq Ocean’ & ‘Quarks’ and is released on the music label, Mercurial Tones. EDM fans will rejoice in the subdued elegance and stimulating aura of the obscure energy that surrounds Marcovits – Monomer EP.

The first track on Marcovits – Monomer EP is ‘Clouds of Venus’ which features a persistent musical narrative wrapped in a dark atmosphere. The unwavering instrumentation throughout the song pushes the listeners into a mysterious sonic dimension. Issued on the label Mercurial Tones, this enigmatic affair has intense and striking synth work. This song is catapulted in a compelling momentum with sharp percussive elements. It is the spectacular fusion of eerie tones and arching chords that elevate the sound design and textural quality of the track. Laden with melodic drop and effortless hooks, the song relishes with nostalgic rave brilliance.

Up next on Marcovits – Monomer EP is ‘Plastiq Ocean.’ This track flows on the waves of gripping arpeggios and grinding beats. He has structured a subtle collision of percussion and kick drums over the fluctuating synths and poly-rhythmic pulses. The track delves into the artist’s signature hypnotic bassline that moves swiftly in the composition. Rolled out via Mercurial Tones, the electrifying aura of the song descends into a melodic progression with an intense pulsating bassline. The chromatic elements add a certain lightness to this sinister mix that gives a refreshing twist to the melody. The ethereal and suspenseful ambiance of the tune is definitely attention-grabbing.

All in all, we’re highly intrigued and thrilled with the back-to-back releases from Marcovits. Not to forget that the third track ‘Quark’ is equally impressive and a definite worth checking Progressive House gem. We’re expecting great things from this artist this year!
