What So Not – The Change | Legendary Collab With DMA’S

What So Not ft DMA's - The Change, new What So Not music 2021, Sweat It Out / Counter Records, DMA's The Change lyrics

The Australian producer, What So Not has been on a hiatus for quite some time. However, the famed DJ/producer has finally made his big comeback with the release of a new genre blending opus entitled, ‘The Change.’ This track is injected with palpitating energy that will give you a taste of rave-driven sensory bliss. This new What So Not music 2021 came a bit as a surprise, it is a collaboration with the Australian rock band DMA’S. Released via Sweat It Out / Counter Records, this tune is an evolutionary phase in the artist’s sonic journey. What So Not – The Change is Indie Electronic meets Breaks music at its best. Interestingly, the The Change (feat. DMA’S) lyrics represent the new era for the musician and the world around him. Here is what What So Not had to say about the track:

“I met Johnny at their studio – a small room next to a noisy inner-city road, above a pub, with no sound insulation. We (somehow) never met but clicked instantly, discussing life on the road, COVID & found commonality in our all-time favourite artists. The first thing we made is pretty much the track you hear. Johnny liked our little idea so much he decided to get the whole band involved & a couple of days later we tracked Tommy & brought Mason in for some extra pieces. I feel like this record is one the two of us have always wanted to make but never had the right pieces of the puzzle, until now.”

What So Not – The Change features furious electricity that runs through the composition with roaring boldness. This Sweat It Out / Counter Records release is a synergetic partnership between the collaborating artists. As soon as you will crank up the volume on this new What So Not music 2021, you will realize exactly what we mean. The The Change (feat. DMA’S) lyrics and immersive vocals spin an alternate universe for the listeners as they collide with the opulent basslines and sinking synths. This massive tune will compel you to revisit it over and over again for its fleshed-out drums, thumping bass and mesmerizing vocals.

Overall, the The Change (feat. DMA’S) lyrics are incredibly fluid and the tune is imbibed with intrinsic old-school vibes. Dropped on Sweat It Out / Counter Records, the dramatic atmosphere is perfectly propped up by the intense percussion and rhythmic reverberance. The thrashing elements on What So Not – The Change are flipped and oscillate into anthemic and melodic zones with an outstanding precision. This new What So Not music 2021 is a stunning piece of art that we didn’t see coming.

Intro

Change the change the change the change the change Change the change the change the change the change

Verse 1

There’s more from which im coming. Eye here for an eye. More from where I’m going. Forever tonight

The Change the change the change the change

There’s more of that shit coming Eye here for an eye. More from from what im knowing. Living in the lie

The Change the change the change the change

Pre Chorus

Don’t wanna fear, the fear of someone new

but im learning how

The Change the change the change the change

don’t wanna feel a moment without you

Are you somewhere else with someone

Drop/Chorus

Stone cold gone red raging though my heart keeps going.

God can’t save me as you walk up on it

Like a raven as they call for violence U won’t save me

… Stone cold gone red raging gold though my heart keeps going

God can’t save me as you walk up on it

Like a raven as they call for violence U won’t save me

More About What So Not:

Australia’s What So Not (Chris Emerson) made his biggest, boldest statement yet with the release of Not All the Beautiful Things, the three-years-in-the-making debut artist album that reaffirmed What So Not’s place as one of the most ambitious, visionary producers in the game. Featuring collaborations with Skrillex, Slumberjack, San Holo, Michael Christmas, and legendary “Africa” rockers Toto, the album spawned the hit “Be OK Again” featuring Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns and earned praise from all corners, including NYLON (“a fully packaged, uncompromised artistic vision”). Not All The Beautiful Things was supported as a triple j featured album. What So Not supported the album with a yearlong 150 show tour through 45 countries that included stops at Ultra, Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza South America, all accompanied by the colossal chrome horse on monster truck wheels that graced the album’s cover. Since debuting in 2011, What So Not has garnered over 1 billion combined streams of his songs, which include such massive anthems as “High You Are”, “Waiting” with Skrillex and RL Grime, and his remix of RÜFÜS du Sol’s “Innerbloom”. Already one of the most exciting live acts in electronic music, he further cemented that reputation when he brought out Silverchair’s Daniel Johns as a surprise guest during his set at Australia’s Laneway Festival, where the pair delighted fans with a new remix of the Silverchair classic “Freak.” Most recently, he fulfilled a dream by remixing Run The Jewels “JU$T” ft Pharrell Williams and Zack De La Rocha, at the start of 2021. And with the release of What So Not – The Change, he is looking to be unstoppable. Released on Sweat It Out / Counter Records, the new What So Not music 2021 will stun you.
