The New Ways, also known as electronic artist Shelbric Fuller, has just released his new House Techno album called The Danceables Collection, on his own record label Dysfunct Records. Blending the genres of underground House and Techno, this 2026 album traces the journey of this endlessly creative artist with a chronological series of tracks from 2014 to 2025. As the title indicates, all of these track are inherently danceable, and several are shaped by collaborative approaches alongside a series of other artists.

How Shelbric Fuller Built The New Ways’ Sound From Miami to Berlin

What makes The Danceables Collection by The New Ways such a compelling listen is not just its range, but also the sense of movement that is fully embedded in the DNA of its songs. Indeed, for Shelbric Fuller, it seems this is less a static album and more an archive that documents how geography and time have shaped his sound.

In particular, the songs that feature on this album aim to encompass the unique musical traits of New York, Miami, and Berlin. The third track Brenda’s Night Out, for instance, carries a driving energy that feels rooted in the urgency of New York, whilst RECOVERY leans into a sound that is more introspective and textural, arguably reflecting the influence of Berlin. As for the influence of Miami on the album, this can really be heard in tracks like Transmission Kill and Monolith, both of which bring a warm, groove-led sensibility.

The Collaborators Behind The Danceables Collection: Stephan Nero, Janae Catt & More

Another notable aspect of this new House Techno album on Dysfunct Records is the numerous collaborators that it features. Artists like Stephan Nero, Future Films, Janae Catt, and Destin Markland all bring a different edge to The New Ways’ own sound on The Danceables Collection. As the artist himself says of the album’s creation:

“Metamodernism the refusal to choose between earnestness and detachment; my north star. These tracks trace a decade of movement: physical movement, yes, but also philosophical movement. Each song is a timestamp of where I was in my evolution as an artist and a human being.”

All in all, The Danceables Collection is arguably set to be a landmark album in the underground House and Techno scene in 2026, not just as a retrospective body of work, but also perhaps in terms of where these genres will be heading over the next few years.
