Italian DJ/producer Luca Guerrieri is quite known in these parts. He is now back with the single ‘Future is the Future’ that is part of his new album ‘Nightmares.’ Most of the artists working within the Melodic House & Techno genre try to look forward, but not all of them succeed. Based on this track and on his previous outings on his label Double Vision Studio Records, Luca does.
On ‘Future is the Future,’ Luca Guerrieri does two things at the same time. First off, he fully respects all the trademarks of the Melodic House & Techno genre. He has an excellent beat which he coupled perfectly with a driving electronic melody. But then, he introduces elements, that can certainly be labeled as innovative. He starts off with a mutated synth shuffle and then introduces the beat. Then come synth bursts as well as another driving synth melody. All those synths have tonal variations that are extremely effective. And yet, even if you are sitting down, you just catch yourself with your toes tapping relentlessly.
Essentially, ‘Future is the Future’ is yet another example of Luca Guerrieri’s avant-garde Melodic House & Techno vision and the quality of music he comes up with on his Double Vision Studio Records. No wonder one of his previous tracks (‘Harmony’) topped the dance charts for two weeks. At the same time, he is one whose remixes are in vogue. Witness those he has done for the likes of Bob Sinclair, Ruffneck, Jestofunk, among dozens of others.
If ‘Future is the Future’ is your cup of tea, make sure to check out what Luca Guerrieri has to offer on his latest album ‘Nightmares,’ you are in for more Melodic House & Techno treats.

More About Luca Guerrieri:
Luca Guerrieri is a DJ and producer from Tuscany. He lives and works in Follonica (GR), in his Double Vision Studio and his career began in 1995. His sound is really difficult to define, since it crosses all or almost all the different kinds of electronic music. For instance, in 2019 he released his first album, “It Never Ends”: among the 15 tracks (9 unreleased and 6 of the most representative of his career) there are also some downbeat pieces. The album comes out on Claps Records, a label that Luca runs with his friend Marco Roncetti.
Among the many productions under his own name, should be mentioned at least “Tears” (it was played on the mainstage of Tomorrowland too) and “Harmony”, named by Pete Tong in his show on BBC Radio 1. The track for two consecutive weeks has been at the top of Dance Chart, Flow and was supported by top DJs like Tiesto, Chuckie, Sam Feldt, EDX …
Over the years Luca Guerrieri remixed tracks by dozens of international artists including Bob Sinclar, Marshall Jefferson, Sidekick, Dirty Vegas, Watermat, Roland Clark, Ferreck Dawn, Rufus Du Sol, Ruffneck, Jutty Ranx, Crystal Waters, Jestofunk, CeCe Rogers, DHS, Darryl Pandy, Moony (…)
