You probably already know IN/ROTATION Records for releases like Maur’s Dance Machine, Jewel Kid’s Work, Qlank’s Therapy and DLMT & Tom Budin’s The Rhythm. Now, adding to this slew of sparkling singles on IN/ROTATION Records is some new deep Gospel-infused Tech House music from Haskell, a Tech House producer and DJ who has graced stages all over the world from Ibiza to Dubai. The track in question is called Haskell – The Power Of Speech, and it’s a high-energy, bass-heavy banger that is bound to be a hit at clubs and festivals over the course of this coming summer.
The first thing you’ll notice about Haskell – Power of Speech is its bold, energetic vocal samples that act as the focal point of the track. The samples appear to be recordings of an American pastor or inspirational speaker, lending the track a gospel flavor that puts it a step above generic tracks of the Tech House genre. Listeners with a keen ear will also notice the track’s clean but electrifying production, which keeps the vocals pushed to the front of the track without sacrificing those big, impactful drops that fans of any kind of EDM will love. In fact, Haskell is a master of the Deep Tech drop, keeping listeners waiting just the right amount of time for those climactic, bass-heavy moments to hit. Power of Speech also features some potent beats and rhythms, with a solid kick drum, bright snares and rhythmic claps providing an unshakeable foundation for the distinctive vocal samples which define the track.
We were extremely excited to hear that there was going to be some new Haskell music coming out on IN/ROTATION Records, and the artist certainly hasn’t disappointed us with this massive new Gospel-infused Deep Tech House banger. In fact, Haskell – The Power of Speech might be one of the most accomplished records he has released to date, making for a vibrant, bass-driven single that also carries a thought-provoking message.
