French producers Habstrakt and ElmyX are out with a second collaboration track for 2025, with a new euphoric rave anthem titled Off My Head that features the talented Los Angeles-based artist Simona Shao. Earlier in the year, the same duo of French producers released the Bass House single 2015 which featured retro vibes and just as much energy as this new track. Spirited best describes previous Bass House tracks by Habstrakt, which include solo releases like Cash and High, and other collaborations like Outer Space, which was produced alongside Roderick Porter. Habstrakt & ElmyX – Off My Head (ft Simona Shao) is getting released under the new GOTTA MOVE label from the Insomniac Music Group.

Off MY Head opens with an attention-grabbing sequence from a vibrant crystallized synth over a heavily high-pass-filtered kick pattern. The lack of low-end is short-lived as a throbbing bass quickly drops alongside the first round of insane, digitally tinkered vocals from Simona Shao. Following a brisk first round of vocals that gets your heart pumpin’ fast, the digital prowess continues as the vocals turn to vocalizations that impressively match the motif from the track’s opening sequence. As if that wasn’t exciting enough, the dial is turned up even higher, as an elated lead synth counter-melody is added on top of the vocalizations in mind-blowing fashion. What follows is a joyride with no map as the track pushes through, constantly bringing in and out its previously established entities.

The label’s first release happened just recently on Halloween with the track Lucky 777 by wes mills. Now, Off My Head, the new rave anthem that features Simona Shao from the collaboration of Habstrakt and ElmyX has our excitement level for this budding record label even higher.
