Doc Brown is a highly acclaimed producer who doesn’t need any introduction. We recently featured his intoxicating club anthem called, ‘Invisible’ (which you should definitely check out if you haven’t already.) The Miami based artist has now released a special EP of two tracks, ‘Voices In Yr Head’ and ‘Connection’. This colorful extended play features a thundering bombast of harmonies and percussive elements. Both of the Tech House tracks are fueled with mellifluous tones, offering spellbinding rhythms. Brown’s EP has been released on his newly launched label Unlearn:Records. This is what he had to say about his imprint:
“The current system perpetuates the idea that you need to have a big fan based to get signed, which stifles creativity & new artist development, or that you need to sign to one of the big ‘gatekeeper’ labels to be successful. Unlearn:Records is based on the idea that we may need to rethink the artist/label relationship status-quo at its core.”
The first track of the EP is called ‘Voices In Yr Head.’ It is a lush, up-tempo track that features some fervent elements fused with hypnotic vocals. The rhythmic beats of this Tech House track by Doc Brown will easily hold you in its grip, not letting you escape from its tantalizing flow. It is a mellisonant cut with a modern taste that kicks off in a jubilant fashion of composition. It is an infectious release that will get the fans addicted to its irresistible vibe.
The next song on Unlearn:Records’ EP is entitled ‘Connection.’ It is driven by a pulsing bass that is layered over some dope percussive patterns and sharp synth stabs. This Tech House track culminates in an ambient drift of melodies, creating a bewitching aura. Doc Brown has crafted this song brilliantly and constructed it with multiple mind-bending elements.
This is an epic two-track EP by Doc Brown. Issued by Unlearn:Records, both songs are perfectly carved and conjure audible brilliance which makes it a must-have release for club DJs. We have been listening to both ‘Voices In Yr Head’ and ‘Connection’ on repeat and are really looking forward to his future releases.
