Bakermat ft. Kiesza – “Don’t Want You Back”, an original single release that garnered a huge following (it’s clocked up over 2 million views on You Tube), and has been one of the defining sounds of the summer has just inspired some fresh sounds. Also featuring the vocals of megastar Kiesza, it is repackaged into a rather tasty remix EP.
Production duties are handled by a talented trio of acts from across the dance music spectrum – all adding a unique twist to the infectious nature of the original. Castelle strip things back to basics on his remix as the Detroit native lets the vocals shine on some minimal yet catchy stabs. Hospital Records duo Fred V & Grafix step up the tempo with a D&B infused version which injects a dash of energy into the EP, and Mat.Joe head down a bassy house route.
