Redux Saints (Los Angeles-based producer Trevor Miller) is back with the new track ‘Ain’t Got Time‘ on Incorrect Music. This is his fourth release in four months. Miller is definitely earning his place on the Beatport Top 100 Tech House Artist chart. He’s also been releasing music on his own label DTLA. But when he’s not writing, he’s live-streaming with other LA-based Tech-House DJs, such as VERSUS, Red Five and Notorious Lynch. It’s been a busy year for Redux Saints. Fans and newcomers will be glad to know, that as well as his releases on Incorrect Music, he has more music coming in December. It looks like Miller is setting himself up for a busy year in 2021.
‘Ain’t Got Time‘ is a great fit for Incorrect Music whose roots are in the Detroit Techno scene. It starts with some harmonic house chords with a tight reverb. It sounds like something straight out of a 90’s house track. But they’re joined by some unlikely company. They’re balanced against some glitchy, modern sound effects. These effects creep in and become the segue to a beat. This beginning sets the tone for the track; old meets new. Redux Saints makes use of some old-school tropes but blends them seamlessly with modern production methods. As a result, it makes for an infectious and pumping track.
Miller’s track showcases the expertise you’d expect from a Beatport Top 100 Tech House Artist. He has carefully interwoven his bass and rhythmic elements. They translate to a club system just as well as they translate to your headphones. His use of a 909-style ride in the bridge to keep pace is great. His constant nods to times-gone-by will delight veteran listeners. With more in the pipeline from both Redux Saints and Incorrect Music, we can make the argument that 2020 is not all bad news.

More About Redux Saints:
Jason Trevor Miller – aka Redux Saints /Placebo eFx – has the aim of bringing melody and emotion back into house music.
Jason’s music combines beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, deep bass lines, and occasional vocal hooks… but all with a chunky house beat.
Jason formed Redux Saints in late 2015 and Placebo eFx in September of 2018. At first he was an alumni of the Icon Collective Music Production School. After that he was the first US graduate from the intensive Toolroom Academy Masterclass program. Following this he has launched himself quickly onto the scene.
With recent signings by labels like LOW CEILING, Toolroom, Stealth and CR2 records, the US producer continues to gain support from established artists in the house world and finds his music resonating with fans.
On the live front, Jason has played to packed floors in London’s iconic Ministry of Sound as well as the legendary Burning Man festival. However, his main passion is in playing his hometown of Los Angeles which is in a state of constant renewal, as it is the urban epitome of the American belief in reinvention. DTLA (Deep Tech Los Angeles) is a label which will act as the catalyst for this movement. As he cultivates underground music for his label, drops mixes for his popular Frisky Radio Show, and gives back knowledge to aspiring artists. Jason Miller will be reviving the downtown part of this iconic city with melodic, driving house music he stands for.
