“Monsters and Miracles – The Silk Road (Austin Leeds Remix)” is a stylish and sexy mingle of Chillstep, Future Bass and RnB/Pop. Austin sets the tone right away with a smooth and blissful intro, opening with MRS’ mesmerizing vocal and timeless piano arrangements that echos “Requiem for a Dream“. MRS offers RnB, Soulful and Urban flavors in her continuously evolving vocal and, a little DΓ©jΓ Vu (some of you might recognize) at the second half of the song. The use of short but intense build ups to contrast with the silky smooth Chillstep drops was a brilliant idea and reinforces the intoxicating effect of the song. The remix overall is a great accessible piece of EDM, without going too Pop or too underground, Austin was able to offer a clever balance between the two.
