London-based DJ and producer Just Geo is out with his sixth album to add to his long-evolving repertoire since his debut album in 2016. The new album is titled TNTHY which is an abbreviation for “Try Not To Hurt Yourself”. Just Geo – TNTHY continues the evolution of his music as he continues to work with more guest artists and songwriters on his productions. His most recent album before this new one in 2022’s End of Days but Make It Vibes saw the first steps in this growth process for Just Geo as it featured artists that included Last Locks, Flirta D, and SKINNY MALONE and followed another album from 2022 of all instrumentals fittingly titled Grime Instrumentals: Now Until Then. TNTHY is an album that allows Just Geo to combine many of his favorite genres including Garage, House, Grime, and Techno music along with continuing to work with artists and vocalists from the previous album as well as new guests that include London-based vocalist Carolina White.

There are many “Yes!” moments throughout the album. Tell Your Lies sets the table well as the opening track on Just Geo – TNTHY with White’s expressive vocals in the spotlight over impeccable production work featuring attention-grabbing bass lines, unique beats, and looping ear candy galore in the background. When You Remember, the album’s sixth track features a mind-etching syncopated bass line with a gratifying stretching ambiance under an infectious looping vocal sample that begs the listener to sing along. Focus On You, the album’s seventh track brings about a nice change of pace with chill vibes as the instrumental features a tranquil pitched-percussion melody over satisfying pulsing ambiance. The track is rightfully named as it will elicit periods of reflection for the listener. The bouncing bassline that drops on the album’s eighth track, Step It Out, and its all-instrumental version Sweat It Out, will leave you with canned heat in your heels as you listen to this irresistible dance floor anthem.

The final track of the album titled Always Gonna Be will have fans of Grime flocking to it as guest MC Flirta D once again collaborates with Just Geo and lays down dominating vocals over the track’s intense groove and bending bassline. Just Geo – TNTHY also features bonus material including Step It Out‘s previously mentioned instrumental version Sweat It Out, and a remix of When You Remember by pocket dream. As a whole, the album is a cornucopia of all the sounds that make the London scene so iconic allowing it to attract die-hard listeners from across multiple genres. TNTHY is now available for streaming and as it is with any release by Just Geo, we highly recommend you don’t miss out on it.
