If you are a bass music head and you don’t know the bay area Slang Dogs boys yet, seriously, where have you been? We’ve blogged about them multiple times in features and also in one of our “Must-Hear Bass Music of the Week” playlists. They dropped some serious Dubstep vibes on the originals “Possession” & “Crisis“, some of the dirtiest G-House sounds on “Top Notch” and blew our mind with their intense DnB remix of Moonboy’s “ALIEN INVAZION”.
They are relentless, there is no bass music genre that they can’t dominate. After experimenting with G-House and Drum and Bass, they are now back to their sources, to the Slang Dogs roots, with their devastating Dubstep sound.
Attacking the anthemic collaboration between SVDDEN DEATH and AFK must have definitely been a challenge, the bar was really high, but to no one’s surprise, they nailed it! The use of the infectious and ethereal melody is perfect and really reinforces the emotional and uplifting feel of the track. The jungle-flavored build-ups are on point, and so are the use of the dope vocal samples. As for the drops and the sound design, it is top shelf like all of their previous productions.
