Whilst it is artists and their latest releases who often provide the focus here at EKM, regular readers will know we like to dedicate space to record labels too. Today we’re doing exactly that, putting the spotlight on the Austrian Future Garage label Studio Bahöö, by drawing your attention to some of the best emerging artists on the label and their best new releases for 2025 so far.

💿 How Studio Bahöö Is Showcasing Emerging Future Garage Talent in 2025

One of the reasons we have chosen to spotlight the Future Garage label Studio Bahöö is because it is quickly growing into one of the genre’s most respected underground imprints. Founded with a DIY ethos and a clear love for the more atmospheric side of electronic music, the label is currently sitting at the heart of the reemergence of Future Garage, which was arguably considered more of a niche style of music when it first emerged. The label takes the genre’s signature sounds – ghostly vocals, warm bass lines, atmospherics sounds, and moody textures – and consistently brings them to the attention of their listeners by releasing forward-thinking music by a diverse range of artists. In this sense, the influence of Studio Bahöö in 2025 cannot be denied.

🔊 Why These Studio Bahöö Tracks Rank Among the Best Future Garage in 2025

Throughout 2025, the Studio Bahöö label has continued to spotlight some of the most noteworthy emerging Future Garage artists, and put out some of the best releases in the genre in 2025, as proved by these three excellent new tracks from the label. There’s two tracks by Rigby on the Run, Rug Rally and Blossom Archives, the former of which showcases the artist’s darker, more percussive direction through shuffling rhythms and dense basslines, and the latter of which leans into a more atmospheric and introspective sound. There is also the Jon Gravy track Promise, which offers the frantic rhythms, hard-hitting basslines and fierce vocals that listeners of the genre are bound to love at first listen.
