After an 18 months hiatus, Mike Danglez returns with his fresh and heavy-hitting new Dubstep EP "No Boundaries Pt. II".

Mike Danglez – No Boundaries Pt. II is the brand new, hard-hitting EP from the Quebecois producer and DJ whose fame is gradually growing on the Dubstep and Melodic Dubstep scenes. No Boundaries Pt. II is his first release in 18 months, Mike says:

After an 18 month hiatus, this is my first release as I work to break back into the music scene. Although the break was much needed, it feels great to be back and focusing on a creative outlet again.

Having already shared the stage with artists including Getter, Prototype and Borgore, Danglez is a self-professed young and ambitious creative who loves to play around with different sounds and sub-genres, and is always on the lookout for a fresh new style. As such, the title of this new EP is extremely representative of the sound he presents on this vibrant new release – one that knows no boundaries, and that truly puts creativity before the demands of the modern music industry.

Featuring four tracks in total, Mike Danglez – No Boundaries Pt. II kicks off with System Failure, which itself begins with a slow, sound effect-laden build-up that explodes into some fiery Dubstep intensity. Relentless in its energy and vigor, it’s the constant changes in pace of this track that keep it sounding fresh from one listen to another, allowing you to find something new among the crunchy bass and atmospheric production almost every time you listen. Another highlight of the EP is the third track Rave March, which sees Danglez bringing some melodic synth riffs and powerful syncopated rhythms into play. The addition of a room-shaking kick drum towards the end rounds it off perfectly, adding even more vibrant energy to a track that is already bursting with bold sounds and distinctive personality.

In this sense, Rave March is very much representative of the Mike Danglez – No Boundaries Pt. II EP as a whole. Bringing a potent and ultimately unique feel to what you might describe as the ‘traditional’ Dubstep sound, Danglez has surpassed himself with this EP, his 18 months hiatus from music clearly paid off and we are already excited to hear what other projects he has in store for us this year.
