Released via Virgin Records and clocking in at just under five and a half minutes, the track is called Loco Dice, Skrillex, Fireboy DML – Heavy Heart, and it blends the huge talents of these three insane artists into a collab that no one is going to be forgetting any time soon.
From the moment it begins, Heavy Heart makes its presence known, using a throbbing kick drum, rumbling bass and exhilarating production flourishes to get its listener hooked from the outset. The track continues in this vein for a while, ensuring that its punchy rhythm section is established, before bringing in some fiery vocals courtesy of Fireboy DML. From here, Heavy Heart builds and builds, never letting the energy levels drop for even a second as more and more synth parts are layered onto the track. There’s bright electronic melodies, fresh builds and drops, and of course that energetic rhythm section rumbling away all the time.
