Joshwa discovered success when he reworked Fatboy Slim’s iconic track ‘Praise You.’ His remix peaked at the seventh spot on the Beatport House Chart. He has since dropped many hypnotic bangers such as ‘Stop the Beat,’ which was released by LoveJuice Records. Joshwa has now returned with his latest hit, ‘Magic.’ He had this to say regarding his fresh new release:
“After the success of “Stop The Beat” I’m excited to be back on LoveJuice Records, the label has been at the forefront of some big hits recently and their shows give tracks unbelievable exposure. I wanted to appeal to House music purists on this one whilst still delivering my renowned tech touch. This is purpose built to set summer off early!”
‘Magic’ is another infectious track by the London-based DJ and Producer, Joshwa. It’s a classy slice of tech house music that has a very mesmerizing feel. The track opens with a catchy percussion and expressive vocal before a layer of melodic sub-bass is added that creates a charismatic atmosphere. He adds depth to the song by infusing some stirring house elements with digital synths and magnetic drum patterns. The overall vibe of the track is propulsive and will surely elevate your mood.
‘Magic’ by Joshwa is an extremely groovy tech house tune, it is a fantastic track for club DJs. It is rich in bouncing bassline and hypnotic synth, layered with the staccato vocal, it creates a very enlivening effect. As soon as the track progresses towards its big climax, you can sense the slight bustle emanating from its core. This is when you feel the adrenaline rush in your veins. The eerie pads creep in and things get even more fraught, as gentle snare rolls come in to prepare you for an epic drop.
Joshwa guides us gently through the magnificent swathe of the wavy ride that ‘Magic’ offers. The title of the track is very fitting as it really does make you feel as if you are under a spell.
