Belgian label Rave Alert, the key player in the “Neo Rave” scene, has dropped “Divine”, a collaboration between Jakka-B and Yusef Kifah. This 160 BPM track merges Hard Trance and Hardcore, delivering a high-energy sound built for dancefloors. Known for tracks like “Push Up”, Rave Alert keeps pushing the emerging genre forward with this release.
The project started with a 2021 draft by Yusef Kifah. It gained momentum when Jakka-B came on board, with the pair working in Salisbury, England, before finalizing it remotely. Jakka-B’s Hardcore trademark compliments Yusef Kifah’s Hard Trance expertise, creating a tight, impactful production that bridges their styles.
Divine stands out with its thunderous gated kicks, basses, and sharp synths, driving a forceful rhythm. A dark spoken word voice cuts through, building up to a larger-to-life break, layered pads and tension-filled filters, leading to a massive drop. Gritty leads and a solid low-end keep the energy high, locking in its Neo Rave character. The structure shifts dynamically, showcasing the duo’s attention to detail.
