First up on our list of must-hear new Indie Dance tunes is Bite It by Millero, Derun and The Anahit, which also brings elements of Tech House into its sound. From the very beginning, the track establishes a dark, driving groove, pairing punchy rhythms with crisp percussion and sexy vocals that give it a strong, club-ready foundation.
Elsewhere, brooding synth lines weave in and out of the mix, gradually building tension whilst also maintaining a vital sense of restraint. There’s a subtle melodic edge running beneath the surface too, giving the track an atmospheric quality that elevates it beyond a straightforward Tech House or Indie Dance cut.

The second track on our list is Loaded Gun by CID, which continues this fusion of Tech House and Indie Dance but with a slightly more direct and energetic approach. Built around a more immediate hook and a confrontational lead vocal, it combines driving basslines with sharp, catchy elements that give it a punchy, anthemic feel. It’s a track that wastes little time in making its impact, evidently able to energise a huge crowd while also retaining a darker Indie Dance aesthetic.

Last up on our list, is Solomun’s Indie Dance flip of One More by Max Styler. Blending steady, hypnotic rhythms with pared-back instrumentation and rapped vocals, Solomun has really brought his characteristic touch to this track, allowing its simple but bold rhythm to take center stage and command its listeners.
Taken together, these three tracks very much highlight the versatility of Indie Dance this year. Whether it’s the shadowy, groove-led feel of Bite It, the high-energy immediacy of Loaded Gun, or the hypnotic rhythms of Solomun’s revamp of One More, each song offers a different perspective on a genre that continues to blur boundaries while always evolving its core sound.
