Dubstep meets DnB and Hip Hop as BSK & BigHeck introduce the new Benert EP, a hybrid bass music statement for 2026.

The brand new EP from BSK and BigHeck is called Benert, and it’s a crossover release with elements of Dubstep, Drum and Bass, and Hip Hop music that make for a perfect musical hybrid in 2026. Featuring five tracks in total and with a runtime of 17 minutes, the EP is short but impactful, showcasing the unique talents of these two artists whilst also revealing the power of their collaborative sound.

✨ BSK & BigHeck’s Benert EP Showcases Modern Bass Music Hybrid Production

With this new EP Benert, BSK and BigHeck build a collaborative sonic identity that pushes their individual artistic voices further than ever before. Throughout the five tracks on the release, the duo lean into sharp drum programming, distorted basslines, and tightly structured arrangements that waste no time getting to the point.

The opening track Pedro, for instance, kicks things off with swagger, built around gritty bass stabs and infectious Hip Hop-style bars before escalating into full-bodied Dubstep drops. The second track Too Serious, meanwhile, is much faster in pace, bring punchy drums, snarling midrange textures, and high-energy transitions that are ready-made for a festival main stage. Third track Screech lives up to its name, delivering abrasive lead lines and rapid-fire rapped vocals that inject some serious urgency into the release. Submarine moves into slightly darker territory, layering submerged atmospheres with radar-esque synths, whilst closing track High rounds things out with a more expansive feel, blending melodic elements into a satisfying finale.

🎵 Dubstep and Drum & Bass Collide With Hip Hop Influence

What makes the Benert EP particularly compelling for 2026 is the way in which BSK and BigHeck refuse to let one genre dominate its sound, instead weaving in elements of Dubstep, Drum and Bass, and Hip Hop music to create a true crossover release. The result is a tight, explosive EP that feels both forward-thinking and authentic, capturing the raw energy of Bass music culture while also pushing it into new territory.
