Ukraine-born, UK-based artist TheLena has just put out her latest acid Drum and Bass release, Show Me, on High Tea Records, and it’s a super high-energy DnB track that will tick all the boxes for fans of this genre. Ambitious and energetic, TheLena has put out three single releases prior to Show Me (Like That, Obsidian Factum, and My Mind), with this latest addition to her discography undoubtedly carrying her distinctive sound whilst also pushing it in new directions.
🎵 TheLena sharpens acid DnB edges on Show Me
At its core, TheLena – Show Me is driven by snarling acid DnB elements that constantly evolve, twisting and modulating as the track unfolds. The brutal low end has a tactile, almost corrosive edge, while frantic but tightly programmed drum breaks lend the track a crispness and preciseness that holds everything in place. Additionally, these layers are all put together with a rare feeling of total focus, whilst filtered build-ups and subtle production flourishes keep the track in constant motion and avoid predictability. Elsewhere, melodic elements are kept to a minimum, allowing rhythm and texture to remain at the forefront of the song throughout. In fact, the main melodic element of Show Me is the vocal samples, which bear a distinctive hook (“show me what you got / I like it like it when you move to the beat drop”) that will keep listeners coming back for more.
✨ High Tea Records taps raw Drum and Bass pressure
High Tea Records are well known for giving a voice to both new and established Drum and Bass artists, and with this latest acid release they continue that tradition by backing a track that relies on a bold, high-energy feel. In this sense, TheLena – Show Me fits neatly into the label’s catalogue whilst also standing out as both a distinctive and futuristic acid DnB release for 2026.
