Proppa Unveils Dark & Eerie Tech House ‘Human’ [PREMIERE]

It’s a very merry Christmas here at EKM and it’s all thanks to Proppa! The Chicago-based Tech House producer has written and then gift-wrapped a special EKM Premiere for us. For everyone who loves eerie and dark Tech House music, the new track ‘Human’ is the perfect present. The thing we like about this producer is he lives up to his name. He makes Proppa bangers. Earlier this year he released a VIP of his hugely popular track ‘Madness’. This VIP was an absolutely lethal rework of the original, showcasing his production skill and musical ingenuity. We’re thrilled to announce that the new Proppa music you’re about to hear is every bit as good.

ProppaHuman takes a different approach to the Tech House producer’s last few releases. This track has all of the energy but the aggression has been dialed back. This track doesn’t have anger; it has attitude. There’s a rolling, grooving quality to it. This, coupled with the vocals, makes it a dance floor-filler in waiting. The kick drum has a dry thump which drives the track perfectly. It works magic in contrast with the deep, resonant bass line. Then there’s a clean, classic open hi-hat on the upbeat to cement the vibe of the track. It’s a real Tech House roller!

Although the track makes use of just a few fundamental ingredients, there are enough permutations to keep you completely invested. When new Proppa music arrives, it’s always more nuanced, more sophisticated than the last. His pedigree breed of dark Tech House music, it is versatile but also easily identifiable. There’s scope for the Chicago-based producer to become a game-changer in the scene and after this EKM Premiere, we’re sure it will be soon! Let the festive fun start early with his new track ‘Human’, and have yourself a Proppa little Christmas.
