His new track “Twisted” serves as a debut act for his new identity and as his first release on Lane 8‘s label, This Never Happened. However, one thing that remained unchanged amidst all this is Massane’s talent to create soulful melodies. The kind of musical prowess that catapults the listener to a dizzying bliss.
The track ‘Twisted’ was released by Massane on April 2nd and, in times of chaos and uncertainty like we are experiencing now, is a more than welcome distraction. This song is a play on the fine balance of soothing melodies and upbeat elements that gets your groove on. Interestingly, in a 4 minutes 30-second-long track, this skillful DJ/producer takes the audience through a melodious invigorating journey without sounding monotonous. He achieves the masterful effect by overarching beats that builds to the bassline before a gradual drop is introduced. This ultimately leads to the inclusion of soothing melodies and percussion that adds to the comforting sensory experience.
‘Twisted’ is definitely a worthy addition to the melodic house and techno genre. Massane’s latest track not only plays on his musical sensibilities of previous brilliant tracks, for instance, ‘Blurry’ and ‘No Return’ but also promises new endeavors that are creative and edgy with his signature style.
