One year already since the release of Moullinex‘ critically-acclaimed album ‘Hypersex’, the Portuguese producer is back with a new set of remixes. One of them, “Moullinex – Painting By Numbers (Xinobi Remix)“, our personal favorite and already at the top of our Top Techno Selections Spotify playlist, offers a majestic Deep and Melodic Techno sound. Xinobi went for an extremely immersive and blissful, yet haunting, take of Moullinex‘ opus. The use of the tender and mesmerizing vocal is perfectly balanced and really fortify the hypnotic feel and depth of the song. This is a track that I wouldn’t be surprised to hear in Stephan Bodzin, Sasha, Marc Romboy and other Deep Techno DJ’s sets this summer.

“I know I’m biased here, but Xinobi’s remix of ‘Darkest Night’ is my favourite remix of any track I’ve ever put out,” Moullinex says.
“It’s been six years or so, and I still get requests for it. This time he took Painting By Numbers into a dark, beautiful and moody territory, and this is on the verge of becoming my new favourite.”
