It’s been a fairly productive 2017 for the Dutch born, Amsterdam based producer and DJ, OIJ. After 2 single releases, a remix on Black Butter Records and an EP release, he returns with a new single in tow – which is acting like a taster for another EP due to drop in the early stages of next year.
“Elation” is a funky, yet retro slice of electronic dance pop with some pretty slick vocals too for good measure. Stomping bass kicks, minimal melodies and chopped vocal edits put OIJ’s top notch production skills effortlessly, with a little assistance from Cubicolor and Tienus.
