“Monsters and Miracles – The Silk Road (Austin Leeds Remix)” is a stylish and sexy mingle of Chillstep, Future Bass and RnB/Pop. Austin sets the tone right away with a smooth and blissful intro, opening with MRS’ mesmerizing vocal and timeless piano arrangements that echos “Requiem for a Dream“. MRS offers RnB, Soulful and Urban flavors in her continuously evolving vocal and, a little Déjà Vu (some of you might recognize) at the second half of the song. The use of short but intense build ups to contrast with the silky smooth Chillstep drops was a brilliant idea and reinforces the intoxicating effect of the song. The remix overall is a great accessible piece of EDM, without going too Pop or too underground, Austin was able to offer a clever balance between the two.
