Musica Universalis – Electro45 (Almost There) sits somewhere between an amazing score for an inspiring short movie and a dope indie game OST. Blissful and sophisticated, Electro45 is a rare gem in the chillout category. Musica Universalis successfully took the IDM genre and infused euphoria in it, made it progressive and created something that will surely put a smile on your face. If you thought Chill-out music couldn’t get you in trance, you were wrong. In fact, Electro45 has a lot in common with Trance music, it is emotionally-rich, fluid, harmonic and definitely ethereal.

More about Musica Universalis:
Originally from New Orleans , surrounded by Blues and Jazz and Carnival / Mardi Gras rhythms absorbing those subconsciously, while being directly influenced / inspired by things I’ve listened to over the years, from Classical, Film Scores, New Age, Space, Ambient Dub to Southern Rock and Funk. I would say my major influences would include Jean Michel Jarre , Tangerine Dream , Mike Oldfield , Vangelis , Yanni , Enya , Vivaldi , Bach. I write and record anything from Classical to EDM / Trance ect. and in most I tend to include an electronic component. I enjoy writing tracks that either make you think deep, bliss out, or make you want to get up and move, or all of the above.
