Born and raised in Utah, Nick Bliss has been a pioneer in the Drum N Bass scene in Utah since the late 90’s. He’s held down 4 club residencies and co-hosted Basstream Radio show on Glitch.fm. Today, he is experimenting and creating a very unique sound of his own, not limiting himself with the “popular” sounds of electronic music like some artists tend to do.
“Patterns in the sand” is a Chill mix of Drum and Bass, Flutes and deep basslines, the atmosphere the track creates is palpable. It succeeds at transporting you in some kind of desert lounge underground bass party somewhere in the middle east. With a dub vibe to it, “Flute Medecine” is not something you come across everyday when it comes to bass music but the originality and high production quality makes it a song that should be on your playlists this summer.

A bit more about Nick:
Nick Bliss was exposed to the party and disc jockey life at an early age. As a kid, he’d help his dad and brother out with mobile dj gigs and live radio events. He’d be helping man the homemade lighting system, or fading in/out 80’s and early 90’s pop tracks back to back on a pair of his fathers old belt drive turntables. In 1997 he graduated to a pair of technics, his own vinyl, and entered the world of electronic music DJing. Just over a decade later, grown up now, he’s creating his own tunes and still in love with electronic music.
