Out now on Rottun Recordings, the powerhouse label owned by none other than dubstep pioneer Excision, is the brand new single from his protege: Dion Timmer. The talented producer and DJ, who recently turned just 18 years old, has amassed quite the following in his short career but he returns with some seriously fresh beats on his new single, “Berzerk.”
The track, which features MagMag on additional vocal duties, represents a switch in Timmer’s sound; usually known for his melodic take on all things bass, “Berzerk” is a darker, track that swamps you in warped basslines and stomping drum patterns showing a real diverse side to Timmer’s writing ability. Also look out for his “Neon Mix 2: Lost Lands Edition,” which is packed with hard beats and stadium anthems from Skrillex, Funtcase and 12th Planet.
