Hungover Sunday Playlist: Humberto J Mendez

Posted By: Eric Robberts On:

It’s sunday! Most of us cope with Sunday mornings with some aspirin and a Soundcloud account. You know EKM is here to make your downloading day easier! Below I have some of my current favorite tracks from artists like Ignacio Vallejo (former MC/IV member), Mr.Furbzz, Arrialine, Lookas, and Debroka! Let’s get right into the Hungover Sunday Playlist!

1. Ignacio Vallejo– WOBBLE (Original Mix)

The first time I heard this track I felt like punching a wall because of how little exposure it’s gotten! The cleaver use of the vocal snippet; the sub bass, the drop JESUS CHRIST THIS GOES HARD! Miami make way, this dude is soon to take over!
2. Mr.Furbzz – Jitter (Original Mix)

Furbzz has been around the underground EDM scene in Miami for years. His first big break was being recognized by Spinnin’ Records for his infamous remix of “Molly” By Cedric Gervais. Soon after that he started playing show after show after show! His rise to fame may have slowed down a little bit but with tracks like these I would not be surprised seeing him rise up once again!
3. Arrialine – Waiting (Original Mix)

I first heard of Arrialine for winning the Remix competition to “Badman” by TheCasaBrothers. Ruben Cardenas of TheCasaBrothers showed me the remix and soon after that I started to follow Arrialine’s work. Though he isn’t too known, his grimy style and unique drops are sure to make him a producer to look out for!
4. Jay-Z Tom Ford (Lookas RunTheTrap Bootleg)

Lookas is another friend of a friend to whom I was introduced to only a few months back. At the time he had a small following of other Miami producers and was not performing much. Fast forward to now and you can obviously see that is no longer the case! He is now internationally known for the LOOKAS x HLTR$KLTR trap remix of DVBBS & Borgeous track “Tsunami”. His remix has been heard by 140,000+ people all over the world. It’s popularity allowed it to be played on Spinnin TV and to have the support of DVBBS themselves! Don’t get confused, this Miami based producer is no one hit wonder. He is quickly releasing banger after banger just like this trill ass remix to Jay Z’s “Tom Ford”. Expect more great things from this artist!
5. Hardwell & MakJ – Countdown (Debroka ‘Festival Trap’ Remix)

When I hear this track I just think huge crowd, CO2 cannons, champagne spraying, and tons of great vibes haha! This track is a MUST HAVE for your set list DJ’s!
